This Plan Will Probably Fail Miserably

I feel like I should at least give it a shot... I probably won't be able to follow through, but then again, that's how I initially felt about this blog, and it's still going strong over a year after its inception. Well, not really strong. I've kind of been slacking off lately. I suppose I could use the whole "I'm a busy MIT student" excuse, but all that is is an excuse. A really lame excuse.

So here's my plan: I'm going to have a posting schedule. I figure that forcing myself to post at least twice a week is probably a good way to make sure my posts are a little bit more focused, as well as more succinct. Because if you wanted to read a novel, you would do just that, rather than read my blog. I may post more than the two days a week, but when I eventually run out of things to talk about (my mother is laughing right now - I'm willing to place money on that) I'll probably just start complaining about pop music and bad music videos, or weird news stories. Clearly this would be less than optimal content, but content is content, no?

What days can you wake up super-early to check your Google Reader?

Mondays and Thursdays, my friends. Mondays and Thursdays at 5:00 AM Eastern.

What? I said super-early. And it's not like I'm going to be up at that hour; thanks to the magic of the internets, I can schedule those suckers to post themselves.

To make up for how thoroughly boring this post was, here's a random selection from Fail Blog that really isn't that funny:

have you heard about www.textsfromlastnight.com ?
I just heard of it for the first time and WOW. Pretty entertaining for all too much of my time.

Sample preview from the local 503:
"Why did I call the Oregon Department of Transportation at 4:30 in the morning, and who did I talk to for three minutes?"

I have heard of it, but it's been one of those things I try to avoid because I know once I get addicted, there is no hope of me ever being productive. :) But that one is awesome... Calling ODOT at 4:30 AM is claaaaassy...
